a new beginning

So..I've been blogging for a while (started a first blog -too personal- in 2003, a second one -closed because it wasn't reflecting my personaly anymore- and this super-lazy one, which is my third blog), and I'm starting to think that if I want to get more readers and make the blogging-thing more fun, I'd start to blog in English. At least to blog in English, too.

I came to this decision basically because the large part of vegan foodlogs I lurk everyday, is written in English. This means that I can understand what they write, but when they do come to read mine they won't get any words.

To be honest, until now I thought several times about my "linguistic choice": in the end I've always mantained Italian because I know for sure how dummy are Italians (expecially when it comes to learn foreign languages!). Since my cooking style is so different from the super-healthy-whole-grainy-organic one I usually find in Italian veg foodlogs (you'd say less healthy, but I define my cooking style: "trying to cook tasty food, so tasty that omnivores wouldn't notice it's veg") I've always thought it'd been nice to offer Italians some happier way to be veg.

By the way, here we are..I hope it'll last and..if someone is interested in recipes I've posted..I'll try to translate them (just if asked, of course: I got a graduation to chase).

lil' Float, my backpacker's beagle..just to party for my new beginning!
